Corstone completed the remodel and upgrades to the Ivar’s Salmon House in 2007. Located on Lake Washington in Seattle, Ivar’s Salmon House is a cedar replica of a Northwest Indian Longhouse. The project included interior modifications to improve the flow of serving traffic, upgrades to the kitchen and removal of walls to increase the seating area. A second phase involved creating additional banquet space. The restaurant remained open throughout the majority of the construction project, minimizing the impact to daily operations. Corstone’s ability to work in the occupied area was key to the successful completion of the project and was valuable to the owner.
